Cosplay Realizations

This is cosplay. However...

Before, I thought that cosplay was all about beautiful and sexy girls portraying an equally beautiful and sexy fictional character.

I couldn't be more wrong.

I realized that cosplay is a form of performance art - an performance wherein an artist, in this case a cosplayer, uses his or her body, voice and movements to tell a story or to convey an idea or expression. The act of cosplaying is not created on canvas nor performed with paintbrushes (unless the character portrayed is Sai from Naruto or some other paintbrush-wielding character). Nevertheless, cosplaying is a form of art that anyone - not only beautiful and sexy girls - can do.

...this is cosplay too.
